Student's Shining in our Community
Congratulations to the NPS students who represented our school at Bandstrav. What a fantastic opprtunity for our talented students to showcase thier musical abilities.
Ainsley from Year 6 was a recipient of the Fred Hollows Humanity Award recently. She attended the National Library where Gabi Hollows and Deputy Chief Minister Yvette Berry presented Ainsley with her award.
The Award recognises Year 6 students who follow in Fred’s footsteps by making a positive difference in their community. It celebrates students who show compassion, integrity and kindness in their every day lives, just as Fred did.
Well done Ainsley, NPS is very proud of you!
Bricks for Kids
We had some wonderful feedback from the facilitators of Bricks for Kids. Well done to all the students and staff who participated in this program
I just wanted to again say what an absolute pleasure it was to work with your wonderful students this week. Mary and I were reflecting that in over two years of running incursions, this was probably the most enjoyable one that we’ve done.
It is an absolute testament to all of the teachers at Ngunnawal Primary, and we look forward to hopefully working with you again in the future.
The last day of term is Thursday 19 Decemeber. The canteen will be open on this day.
Spotlight on Learning - Kosciuszko
Spotlight on Learning - Kosciuszko
On Tuesday 3 December Year 4 students had an exciting day working with the Bricks 4 Kidz outreach program. Students participated in a Lego coding workshop to enrich the learning we have been doing in our Technology unit as we build our understanding and skills in coding. Students explored how to build, program and modify mechanical Lego designs.

We are very excited to share our Big Gig performances with the school community tomorrow. Students have worked hard to perfect their routines and are to be congratulated on their efforts throughout the term.
Positions open for the P&C committee 2020!
Ever wanted a prestigious title?
Are you a note-taking whizz?
Want to get the inside information first?
The P&C are looking for a new President, Vice President, and Secretary for next year.
There's more to the P&C than just having to organise fundraisers. In fact, the primary purpose is to ensure the longevity and success of the school canteen - we are very proud of the fact that our canteen continues to operate 5 days per week, offering healthy food, and hasn't been outsourced. A rare achievement for schools these days!
If you are interested, please ask for more information - we'd be more than happy to have a chat! Drop us a message via Facebook and we'll be in touch.
