Dear Ngunnawal Primary School families,
We welcome all of our new and continuing students in 2020 to Ngunnawal Primary School. We are looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial partnership as we work together to ensure every student achieves their full potential.
Over the break our school grounds have undergone some improvement works. Our joint landscaping project with the P and C looks fantastic.
Our courtyard resurfacing is partially complete. We have experienced delays due to the conditions over the summer break. The images will be installed as soon as possible.
We look forward to greeting our Preschool and Kindergarten children on Monday 3 February and Years 1 to 6 on Tuesday 4 February.
Don't forget to pop Friday 7 February in your calendar if you would like the opportunity to spend some time in your child's new classroom.

Stationery and Equipment
Having the right equipment for your child to engage in their learning is essential. Book Pack lists are available at the bottom of this email or alternatively please collect a copy from the front office.
Book packs will be delivered to the school before students return. Students in Years 3 to 6 will be given their pencil case and contents to personalise if desired. Teachers will organise resources for students in Kindergarten to Year 2.
We apologise for the system error which did not allow families to recieve book packs to home addresses. We will rectify this in the future.

Open Morning Friday 7 February
Once our students have had a few days to become familiar with their classrooms, we are inviting families and friends of children in Kindergarten to Year 6 into school on Friday morning between 9am and 10.30am. It is an opportunity for the children to introduce you to their new space, say hello to the teachers and begin our home and school partnerships to ensure every student experiences success. Our Preschool classrooms are open each day while our families settle their children into school routines.
Positions open for the P&C committee 2020!
Ever wanted a prestigious title?
Are you a note-taking whizz?
Want to get the inside information first?
The P&C are looking for a new President, Vice President, and Secretary for next year.
There's more to the P&C than just having to organise fundraisers. In fact, the primary purpose is to ensure the longevity and success of the school canteen - we are very proud of the fact that our canteen continues to operate 5 days per week, offering healthy food, and hasn't been outsourced. A rare achievement for schools these days!
If you are interested, please ask for more information - we'd be more than happy to have a chat! Drop us a message via Facebook and we'll be in touch.
