It is hard to believe that we are in our final week and a bit of the 2024 school year, and what a year we have had! Some of the highlights have included; sports carnivals and gala days, excusions, preschool walks on Country, Market Day, camps, PBL rewards, visiting authors, Book fairs, swaps and parades, Aquasafe swimming, assemblies and so much more.















On Friday you should have received your child's Semester two report. This week teachers are running interviews for you to disucss your child's progress in more detail. If you have not yet made an appointment and wish to do so, please contact the front office. They will be able to check the teacher's avaliablility and make a booking.
This week we congratulate and farewell our Year 6 students as their time at Ngunnawal Primary comes to an end. They are all very excited about their week of events, with a P&C Year 6 Disco on Wednesday evening, Fun day on Thursday and Graduation on Friday. To Year 6, we wish you well as you begin your high school journey. We know you are ready for this next step and hope you embrace all the new postive opportunities and experiences that come your way.
For those returning next year, your child will be told who their classroom teacher is for 2025 towards the end of the week. They will also receive a transisiton slip with information about their teacher for you to have at home. If your child misplaces this slip, please speak with your child's classroom teacher to arrange another one.
Preschool and Kindergarten students return to school on Monday 3 February 2025 with students in Years 1-6 returning on Tuesday 4 February 2025. Please note, staff are on annual leave until Wednesday 29 January and will not be able to return emails during this time. For school related questions prior to staff returining to school, please email info@ngunnawalps.act.edu.au and we will do our best to respond.
We wouold also like to take this opportunity to thank the P&C and School board for the contributions you have made to our school this year. We look foward to continuing this partnership and working with you in 2025.
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday and we will see you all again in 2025.

Positive Behaviours for Learning
PBL Celebration
This year we have hit a new high of 135 305 Yunggi Bengals as of the end of Week 8. With this milestone students in Kindergarten to Year 6 will be celebrating our PBL Reward Day with crazy hair. We look forward to seeing all the different hairdos on offer.
Fortnightly Focus
In our final fornightly focus for the year we are working to tidy our school ahead of the school holiday break. Throughout the week children will be bringing home any belongings that they have here at school as well as books and items they have created during the year. We will also be working hard to clean our environment, leaving it clean and tidy ready for the 2025 school year.
The PBL team wishes everyone a safe break. We look forward to launching our new expectations and other exciting PBL intiatives in 2025.
