Key features of the upgrade include:

  • new unisex, accessible toilet
  • improvements to the existing irrigation
  • new LED sportsground lighting.

Want to know more?

Members of the project team will be available to discuss the upgrades at a community pop-up.

What: Ngunnawal Neighbourhood Oval Community pop-up

Where: Ngunnawal Neighbourhood Oval

When: Tuesday 21 March, 3.30 pm to 6 pm

If you’re unable to attend the pop-up, you can contact the project team via email at communityengagement@act.gov.au

The new carpark design is expected to be finalised in the coming months with construction expected later this year.

Once the upgrades are complete, the Ngunnawal Neighbourhood Oval will be added to the ACT Government sportsground booking system. The accessible toilet and LED sportsground lighting will only be available to those with bookings for the oval.

Positive Behaviours for Learning - Tier 2 Approaches

Our staff have been learning about the form and function of behaviour in readiness to refine our whole school practices for Tier 2 responses to student needs. There are four strategies we will be using to provide additional supports for selected students:
  • Check In, Check Out
  • Social Skills Instructional Groups
  • Self Monitoring
  • Response to Need (RTN) for learning
