Cultural Integrity Club
On Monday 10th October, the Student Leadership Team (Communications) ran their first Cultural Integrity Club, at lunch. Students learnt about and made Indigenous symbols, then used them to create and tell stories.
What did we do?
On the first day of the club we made Aboriginal symbols out of playdough.



What is the club about?
The Cultural Integrity club is about:
- Promoting the range of cultures that make up Ngunnawal Primary School
- Raising cultural awareness and understanding amongst Ngunnawal students and teachers
Where and when is it on?
- The cultural integrity club is on Monday every week at lunch.
- The club is located at 5TB’s classroom in the Yuin building.
What are we planning to do?
We are planning to alternate between crafts and sports/P.E. over the coming weeks:
- Week 2: Cultural games!
- Week 3: Cultural art/painting
- Week 4: Cultural games
- And much more throughout the weeks to come!
Who can come?
All students from K-6 are invited to the Cultural Integrity Club.
