End of Semester Meetings
https://ngunnawalps.schoolzineplus.com/view-session/15
Meetings will occur virtually unless you request in person. Once a booking is made the teacher will email you an online meeting link. If you want to meet in person, please respond to the email from the teacher to say you would like to meet in your child’s classroom.
For in person meetings social distancing and hygiene practises will apply. Please do not attend the school site if unwell.
The purpose of mid-year meetings is to:
- Get an overview of how your child is doing.
- Discuss what you and the teacher see as your child’s areas for development. How is the teacher going to support these, and how can you support the teacher at home? Ask to see examples of needed.
- Discuss what your child’s strengths are. How is the teacher going to stretch your child, and how can you support the teacher at home?
Please note this link will close on Friday 24 June. You will need to contact the teacher directly to make an appointment after this day. This allows teachers to map out their meetings for the week. We look forward to seeing you all in week 10.
Balbo Place
Balbo Place is a very busy road at present. Some residents are concerned for students walking through high levels of traffic. If you use Balbo Place as a drop off zone, consider dropping your children off in the drop off zone at the front of the school, or part way to school near a pathway. It is also important we are not blocking access to driveways for our nearby residents when dropping off and collecting children from school. If there are continued issues for residents,we may have parking supervisors in the area to ensure the no parking zones are being observed during peak hours. Please observe the no parking signs in Balbo Place.

New Building Handover
We are expecting to take possession of our new building on Friday 1 July. 5BD, 5NG, 5TB and 4RM will be moving to the new spaces. Our Year 3 and 4 classes already in the area will have access to new student toilets. We also have a new covered walkway between the existing and new building so everyone can stay dry when walking to this area. We have some great zones around the building where we can plan for some outdoor learning areas.
We wish everyone a restful term break from Saturday 2 July to Sunday 17 July.
