A Message from the Principal
Welcome back!
Our preschool and kindergarten students have had a brilliant start to the year. We look forward to a wonderful year of learning when all of our students return.

We were unable to hold tea and tissues with our preschool and kindergarten families on the first day but we hope you enjoyed your cup of tea. Thank you to our P and C who created welcome packs for our preschool families.
What's been happening in our school over the holidays?
Our Yarning Circle was completed at the end of term. Our teachers were lucky enough to use the outdoor learning space last week with one of our parents and Yurbay consultant, Adam Shipp. We look forward to launching the space with our community later in the year.
Construction has commenced on our new Year 4 and 5 classrooms. We encourage students to avoid Balbo Place when coming to and from school due to increased traffic using the rear access to the site during term 1.
In our preschool we've had some landscaping completed. We look forward to our new playground equipment being installed at the end of Term 1.
Connecting Families and Teachers in Term 1
We would normally hold Get to Know You Chats early in the term to give all families an opportunity to meet teachers and see their child's classroom. We have decided to push these meetings back to weeks 5 and 6. If you need to discuss your child's needs with the school team prior to week 5 we welcome you to email your child's teacher to make an appointment. Appointments can be virtual or in person with COVID safe proocedures in place.
We will begin our Fortnight Ahead Seesaw Posts in week 3. These will describe the upcoming learning for each class for the following 2 weeks. There is an example below of how these look.
Putting some faces to the names of our new teachers and school leaders!
