Trivia Night

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Trivia Night last weekend. What a fun way to come together as a school community whilst raising funds for our school and Bush Fire relief. Thank you to Sarah, Lucy and Rochelle for their exceptional organisation. We very much appreciate all the donations from community members to make the night such a hit. School Leader Appointments for 2020

In 2020, Ngunnawal Primary School welcomes Arianna Cansdell as Deputy Principal Years 3-6. Arianna is an experienced school leader who brings a passion for developing high quality teachers and leading literacy and numeracy improvement. We look forward to Arianna applying her expertise to make our great school greater.

Rebecca Richardson is continuing her leave in 2020. Arilia Abell will be continuing on as Acting Deputy Principal P-2 in 2020. Arilia has very capably driven our early years improvement strategy and we look forward to her continued contribution to our school.

We also congratulate Erin Salleo who will be continuing on as acting School Leader C. Erin is well known for her organisation abilities and attention to detail. Erin's flexibility to lead across the school is a real asset to the team. 

We will be farewelling the wonderful Stacey Hodgson who is off to Brisbane next year.

School Improvement Plan 2020-2022

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the future direction of the school. We now have two priorities. Our next step is to identify the actions we will take in 2020 to work towards these goals.

Big Gig and Little Gig Night Performances

We thank everyone for using our new ticketing system for the Big Gig and Little Gig performances this year. This helps us ensure we following safety regulations whilst giving all students a fair opportunity to have their family members in a good seat. 

As of today, unallocated tickets are now available to those who would like to book 2 more. These will be available until the allocation is exhausted.

Classes 2020

During week 7 teachers will be finalising class lists for 2020. During week 8 the school will focus on transition conversations with new teachers where possible. Students with additional needs will have the opportunity to meet their teacher  if they are in the school and view their classrooms. The school will be doing quite a bit of shuffling around to accommodate classes for 2020 so some spaces may not be ready until the new year.
