Musica Viva In school experience
We are very excited to be able to invite Musica Viva performers back to our school this year!
Alice Giles and Liena Lacy will inspire us with the sounds of the harp as they take us on a musical journey to Antarctica.
‘Adventures in Antarctica’ will perform on Friday 18 June 2021 in the Ngunnawal PS school hall.
In weekly music classes students will learn about the harp, explore music written to reflect Antarctica and its many animals and learn how music can take the listener on a musical journey.
All classes K-6 will be involved in learning the ‘Adventures in Antarctica’ material either in Term 2 or Term 3. For classes who are currently doing specialist music, this in-school experience will be a culminating performance whilst for classes who will receive specialist music classes in Term 3 and 4 this performance will initiate their learning in this area.
Permission notes given to students in week 5.
