Summer Reading
Ways to keep reading fresh over the summer break:
- Find a book at home that you havent read in awhile and read it again
- Borrow a book from a friend or neighbour. Start your own book swap!
- Read an e book
- Visit the Gungahlin Library. Parents can assist with joining online. Did you know Gungahlin Library has a large digital colleciton of books, magazines, movies and music?
- Investigate new release books and create a wishlist or recommendaitons for the school library
- Have a family dinner book club once a week
- Try a reading places challenge this summer. Can you read in 50 different places?
- Try Summer Reading Bingo (see below) It is ok to do some of these with a helper if needed
